Hello and welcome! I’m Lidia Bellacci, the heart and hands behind Recipes of Kitchen. And like many of you, my journey into the world of gluten-free baking wasn’t a planned path. Instead, it was an unexpected discovery that forever changed my life and my passion for the kitchen.
For many years, I enjoyed traditional baking. The comforting aroma of freshly baked cakes and warm cookies was an integral part of my childhood memories and family gatherings. I’d bake for every occasion, finding immense joy in sharing my creations with friends and loved ones.
However, a few years ago, I began to experience mysterious health issues – persistent fatigue, digestive problems, and uncomfortable bloating. After a period of uncertainty and searching for answers, I received a diagnosis that changed everything: gluten sensitivity.

Initially, I felt a wave of despair. How could I continue my baking passion without the staple ingredient I had always relied on? Would I have to say goodbye to all my favorite desserts? The thought of giving up the baking I loved most was heartbreaking.
But instead of giving up, I decided to turn this challenge into an opportunity. I embarked on an extensive journey of exploring alternative flours, new baking techniques, and the unique chemistry of gluten-free ingredients. The beginning was filled with many failed attempts – cakes that crumbled, cookies that turned rock-hard! Yet, with every setback, I learned something new.
Over time, my recipes started to succeed. I discovered that gluten-free baking isn’t a limitation; it’s an invitation to innovate and create. I began making desserts so delicious that my friends and family couldn’t believe they were gluten-free! My joy was immeasurable when I saw their faces light up as they savored a cookie or a slice of cake, free from any worry.

This website, Recipes of kitchen, was born from that journey. It’s my space to share everything I’ve learned, from the mistakes I’ve made to the triumphs I’ve celebrated. My goal is to provide you with gluten-free dessert and baked goods recipes that are not only safe to eat but also incredibly delicious, enjoyable, and easy to prepare, so that no one ever has to feel deprived.
