Soft, buttery, and perfectly sweet, these Addicting Mini Sugar Cookies are bite-sized treats that disappear fast!
Ingredients

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/4 cup colorful sprinkles or sanding sugar (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 4. Beat in egg, vanilla, and milk until well combined.
- 5. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until dough comes together.
- 6. Roll dough into small 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- 7. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass. Sprinkle with sugar or sprinkles if desired.
- 8. Bake 8โ10 minutes, until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- 9. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Do not overbake cookies should remain soft and chewy in the center.
- Dough can be chilled for 30 minutes for easier rolling if sticky.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or freeze for longer storage.
