Description

Soft, buttery, and perfectly sweet, these Addicting Mini Sugar Cookies are bite-sized treats that disappear fast!


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 cup colorful sprinkles or sanding sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 4. Beat in egg, vanilla, and milk until well combined.
  • 5. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until dough comes together.
  • 6. Roll dough into small 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
  • 7. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass. Sprinkle with sugar or sprinkles if desired.
  • 8. Bake 8โ€“10 minutes, until edges are set but centers are still soft.
  • 9. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Do not overbake cookies should remain soft and chewy in the center.
  • Dough can be chilled for 30 minutes for easier rolling if sticky.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or freeze for longer storage.
