  • 2. Unfold puff pastry onto the prepared baking sheet.

  • 4. Spread the almond mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  • 5. Arrange apple slices over the frangipane in a decorative pattern.
  • 6. Sprinkle granulated sugar evenly over the apples.
  • 7. Fold the pastry border slightly inward around the edges.
  • 8. Bake for 22โ€“28 minutes, until the pastry is golden and the apples are tender.
