A bold and cheesy homemade version of Nacho Cheese Doritos made completely gluten-free. Crunchy, flavorful, and perfect for snacking or parties.

- 6 gluten-free corn tortillas
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric (for color, optional)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. Cut each tortilla into 6 triangle-shaped pieces.
- 3. Place tortilla triangles in a bowl and toss with oil until lightly coated.
- 4. In a separate bowl, mix together nutritional yeast, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, turmeric, and salt.
- 5. Sprinkle seasoning mix over the oiled tortilla pieces and toss until evenly coated.
- 6. Spread chips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- 7. Bake for 12โ15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- 8. Let cool slightly before serving. Chips will crisp further as they cool.
Notes
- Use certified gluten-free corn tortillas to ensure the recipe is completely gluten-free.
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning blend.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days for best crunch.
