Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or shortening
Instructions
- 1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- 2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- 3. Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
- 4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- 5. Add crispy rice cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
- 6. Press mixture firmly into the prepared pan and let set for 30 minutes.
- 7. Cut into squares.
- 8. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
- 9. Dip the bottom half of each Rice Krispie treat into melted chocolate.
- 10. Place on parchment paper and let chocolate set before serving.
Notes
- Use milk or dark chocolate if preferred.
- Sprinkle with sea salt or festive toppings before chocolate sets.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
