A festive and colorful Christmas Funfetti Bread packed with sprinkles and topped with a sweet glaze perfect for holiday mornings or gifting.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup red and green sprinkles (jimmies style, not nonpareils)

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2โ3 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Extra sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream and vanilla extract.
- 5. Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with milk, mixing until just combined.
- 6. Fold in red and green sprinkles gently.
- 7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- 8. Bake 50โ60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 9. Cool bread completely before glazing.
- 10. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together to form glaze, then drizzle over cooled bread and top with extra sprinkles.
Notes
- Use jimmies sprinkles for best results nonpareils can bleed color into the batter.
- This festive bread makes a great edible holiday gift when wrapped in cellophane and tied with ribbon.
- Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
