Description
Savory and festive stuffing balls made with turkey, cranberries, and herbs an easy holiday side dish or appetizer thatโs perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 cups day-old bread, cubed
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chicken or turkey broth
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sautรฉ onion and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.
- 3. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, sautรฉed onion mixture, bread cubes, cranberries, broth, egg, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- 4. Mix until well combined. If mixture is too dry, add a little more broth; if too wet, add extra bread cubes.
- 5. Shape mixture into golf ballโsized balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
- 6. Bake for 20โ25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165ยฐF/74ยฐC).
- 7. Serve warm as a side dish or appetizer.
Notes
- These stuffing balls can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
- Great as a holiday side or served with gravy as finger food.
- You can swap dried cranberries for chopped fresh cranberries for a tart kick.
