Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1โ€“2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Brown gel food coloring
  • White gel icing or white decorating icing

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. Shape cookie dough into oval football shapes and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • 3. Bake according to package directions until set.
  • 4. Allow cookies to cool completely.
  • 5. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make a thick glaze.
  • 6. Tint glaze with brown gel food coloring.
  • 7. Spread brown glaze over cooled cookies and let set.
  • 8. Use white decorating icing to pipe football laces on each cookie.
  • 9. Allow icing to dry before serving.
