Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- 2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- 3. Stir in flour until a soft dough forms.
- 4. Press two-thirds of the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- 5. Bake the crust for 12โ15 minutes, until lightly golden.
- 6. Pour caramel sauce evenly over the warm crust.
- 7. Crumble the remaining dough over the caramel layer.
- 8. Sprinkle evenly with sea salt.
- 9. Bake for 20โ25 minutes, until golden brown.
- 10. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
