  • 1 1/2 cups mixed dried fruit

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 325ยฐF (165ยฐC) and grease a loaf pan.
  • 2. In a bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 3. Beat in eggs one at a time until well combined.
  • 4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  • 5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  • 6. Stir in dried fruit, chopped nuts, and orange juice until evenly combined.
  • 7. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • 8. Bake for 60โ€“70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • 9. Cool completely before slicing.
