  • Author: Lidia Bellacci
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A refreshing, tangy mango tart frozen yogurt inspired by Golden Spoon — made with real mango and dairy-free yogurt.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups frozen mango chunks

1 cup unsweetened dairy-free yogurt (such as coconut or almond-based)

23 tbsp maple syrup or agave (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

1. Add frozen mango, dairy-free yogurt, maple syrup, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to a blender or food processor.

2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

3. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.

4. For soft-serve consistency, serve immediately.

5. For firmer frozen yogurt, transfer to a container and freeze for 1–2 hours before scooping.

6. Store any leftovers in the freezer and let sit at room temperature 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use ripe, sweet mango for best flavor.

Lemon juice enhances the tartness to match the frozen yogurt profile.

Coconut yogurt gives it a creamy texture, but you can use almond or oat yogurt too.

To make it creamier, add 1–2 tbsp canned coconut milk.
