- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (semisweet or milk chocolate)
- 12โ14 Halloween Oreos (orange filling)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 2. In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- 3. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- 5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- 6. Fold in chocolate chips.
- 7. Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough, flatten slightly, and place an Oreo in the center. Cover with another scoop of dough, sealing edges around Oreo.
- 8. Place stuffed cookies on prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2โ3 inches apart.
- 9. Bake for 12โ14 minutes, or until edges are golden but centers are still soft.
- 10. Cool slightly before serving warm for a gooey center.
