Description

A savory, low-carb keto bread infused with herbs, perfect for sandwiches, toast, or serving alongside soups and salads.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp dried Italian herbs (or a mix of oregano, rosemary, and thyme)
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, herbs, and garlic powder.
  • 3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter, and almond milk until smooth.
  • 4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until fully combined.
  • 5. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • 6. Bake for 35โ€“45 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • 7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • For a stronger herb flavor, add fresh chopped herbs.
  • Store the bread in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze slices for later use.
  • Toast lightly before serving to enhance flavor and texture.
