- 1/2 cup cold water

- 1 cup whipped topping (or freshly whipped cream)

Instructions
- 1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until evenly coated.
- 2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or pie dish. Chill while preparing the filling.
- 3. In a small bowl, dissolve Jell-O powder in boiling water. Stir in cold water and let it cool slightly until just warm.
- 4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- 5. Gradually add the cooled Jell-O mixture to the cream cheese mixture, beating until well combined.
- 6. Fold in whipped topping gently until smooth and airy.
- 7. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
- 8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm and set.
- 9. Top with fresh fruit or fruit preserves before serving.

- You can use any Jell-O flavor for variety try lime for a tropical twist or cherry for a classic look.
- For a lighter texture, use extra whipped topping.
