Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • 2. Beat butter and powdered sugar until light and creamy.
  • 3. Add lemon zest and lemon juice; mix until combined.
  • 4. Whisk flour, cornstarch, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • 5. Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
  • 6. Scoop teaspoon-sized balls of dough and place on the baking sheet.
  • 7. Flatten each slightly with your fingers or the bottom of a glass.
  • 8. Bake for 10โ€“12 minutes or until edges are just barely golden.
  • 9. Whisk together glaze ingredients until smooth.
  • 10. Once completely cooled, dip or drizzle cookies with the lemon glaze.
  • 11. Allow glaze to set before serving.
