Description

Flaky, golden crescent rolls filled with gooey brown sugar, butter, and pecan filling a quick and irresistible twist on classic pecan pie!


Ingredients

  1. 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  2. 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  3. 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  4. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  5. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  6. 3 tablespoons melted butter
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  8. Pinch of salt

**Optional glaze:**

  1. 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  2. 1โ€“2 tablespoons milk or cream
  3. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a small bowl, mix together chopped pecans, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, salt, melted butter, and vanilla until combined.
  • 3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  • 4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  • 5. Roll each triangle up tightly, starting from the wide end, and tuck the tip underneath.
  • 6. Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  • 7. Bake for 10โ€“12 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  • 8. While the rolls bake, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
  • 9. Drizzle the warm crescent rolls with glaze before serving.
