Ingredients

- 2 cups plain whole milk Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, heavy cream, honey or maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- 2. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired.
- 3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- 4. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually 20–25 minutes.
- 5. Transfer the churned ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for 2–3 hours until firm.
- 6. Let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping and serving.
Notes
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture and boldest tang.
- No ice cream maker? Freeze the mixture in a shallow dish and stir every 30 minutes for 2–3 hours.
- Top with berries, honey drizzle, or toasted nuts for a simple but elegant dessert.
