Ingredients
1 cup chickpea flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/3 cup water
Optional: sesame seeds or chia seeds for topping
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together chickpea flour, baking powder, salt, turmeric, black pepper, and garlic powder.
3. Stir in the olive oil and water until a smooth batter forms.
4. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
5. Spoon teaspoon-sized portions onto the baking sheet and flatten them into thin rounds.
6. Sprinkle with optional seeds if desired.
7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until edges are golden and crisp.
8. Allow to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Store crisps in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
For extra crunch, you can flip them halfway through baking.
