- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/3 cup water
- Optional: sesame seeds or chia seeds for topping
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together chickpea flour, baking powder, salt, turmeric, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- 3. Stir in the olive oil and water until a smooth batter forms.
- 4. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- 5. Spoon teaspoon-sized portions onto the baking sheet and flatten them into thin rounds.
- 6. Sprinkle with optional seeds if desired.
- 7. Bake for 12โ15 minutes, or until edges are golden and crisp.
- 8. Allow to cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Store crisps in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
- For extra crunch, you can flip them halfway through baking.
