Description
This easy 2-ingredient flatbread is soft, tender, and quick to make with just self-rising flour and Greek yogurt.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- All-purpose flour, for dusting
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a shaggy dough forms.
- 2. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 1 to 2 minutes, just until smooth. Add a little flour if the dough is too sticky.
- 3. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each piece into a thin round.
- 4. Heat a dry skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- 5. Cook each flatbread for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until puffed in spots and lightly golden.
- 6. Serve warm.
Notes
Use full-fat or low-fat plain Greek yogurt for the best texture.
If the dough feels sticky, dust your hands and work surface lightly with flour rather than adding a lot of extra flour.
Store cooled flatbreads in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat in a dry skillet.
