Description
A no-bake twist on classic tiramisu, featuring layers of amaretto-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone, and sweet cherry compote. Perfect for summer entertaining.
Ingredients
24–30 Ladyfingers (Savoiardi)
16 oz (2 cups) Mascarpone cheese, room temperature
1 cup Heavy cream, cold
1/2 cup Powdered sugar
1/2 cup Amaretto liqueur
1 cup Strong brewed coffee, cooled
1 cup Cherry preserves
1 cup Fresh cherries, pitted and halved
2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
Instructions
- Combine cherry preserves with a splash of amaretto; stir until smooth. Set aside
- In a large bowl, beat mascarpone and powdered sugar until fluffy. In another bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks. Gently fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture
- In a shallow dish, mix cooled coffee and remaining amaretto
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture (do not soak). Layer dipped ladyfingers in a 9×13 inch dish
- Spread half the cream mixture over the ladyfingers. Spoon half the cherry mixture on top. Repeat layers, finishing with cream
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight. Before serving, top with fresh cherries and dust with cocoa powder
Notes
Use room-temperature mascarpone for a smooth cream.
Chill your mixing bowl for heavy cream to whip faster.
Dip ladyfingers quickly (1 second per side) to avoid sogginess.
Resting overnight deepens the flavors.
Store covered in refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not freeze.
Add cocoa garnish just before serving for best presentation.
