This impossible pie requires minimal effort – just mix everything in one bowl, pour over apples, and bake. Ingredients
2 cups Milk (whole or 2%)
4 large Eggs
1 cup All-purpose flour
3/4 cup Granulated sugar
1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted and cooled
2 tsp Pure vanilla extract
2 tsp Ground cinnamo
1/4 tsp Ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp Salt
2 medium Apples, peeled and thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-inch deep-dish pie plate
- In a blender or large bowl with hand mixer, combine milk, eggs, flour, sugar, melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Blend/mix for 1 minute until smooth
- Arrange sliced apples in bottom of prepared pie dish. Pour batter over apples
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until top is golden brown and center is set with slight jiggle
- Remove from oven and cool on wire rack for at least 20 minutes before serving
Notes
Let melted butter cool slightly before adding to prevent cooking eggs.
Slice apples evenly for consistent baking.
Do not open oven door during first 40 minutes of baking.
Pie can be stored in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
