4 large Eggs
1 cup Whole Milk
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
1 pinch Salt
2–3 tablespoons Butter
Maple Syrup for serving
Powdered Sugar for serving
Instructions
- Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a wide, shallow bowl until smooth
- Place the entire connected sheet of Hawaiian rolls into the custard mixture and soak for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing gently
- Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet or griddle over medium heat
- Transfer the soaked sheet of rolls to the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until deeply golden brow
- Serve immediately with maple syrup and powdered sugar
Notes
For best results, don't rush the soaking process to ensure proper custard absorption.
