Description

4 large Eggs
1 cup Whole Milk
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
1 pinch Salt
23 tablespoons Butter
Maple Syrup for serving
Powdered Sugar for serving


Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a wide, shallow bowl until smooth
  2. Place the entire connected sheet of Hawaiian rolls into the custard mixture and soak for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing gently
  3. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet or griddle over medium heat
  4. Transfer the soaked sheet of rolls to the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until deeply golden brow
  5. Serve immediately with maple syrup and powdered sugar

Notes

For best results, don't rush the soaking process to ensure proper custard absorption.

Keep cooked French toast warm in a 200°F oven while finishing batches.
